Market News

be closed Saturday the 24th, but is scheduled to be open on the 31st.
The Winter Market will kick off in January.
Fresh at the Market
Finish your holiday decorating at the Arlington Farmers Market this weekend. Several vendors offer wreaths, garland and
boughs, and pinecones in addition to the usual tasty treats.
Holiday Tip
Montgomery County’s “The Green Man” offers ideas for sharing your holiday with our “feathered and furred neighbors” by
making a garland using fruits and berries for an outdoor tree. You can use fresh cranberries, apples, pears, nuts or popcorn,
and dried fruits like raisins, and apricots as well. Another idea is to cover a pinecone with peanut butter, and roll in a
seed or suet mix. Similar projects can be done with a bagel, or stale bread cut into holiday shapes.
Read the details and more great ideas at www.greenmanshow.com and scroll down to the bottom
of the Documents and Publications section, to find "Sharing Your Holidays with Wildlife".
